Events will be held in all the schools of Punjab dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzadas

On December 23, there will be programs related to martyrdom days in the morning in schools

The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided to hold a function dedicated to the martyrdom and warm memory of the four Sahibzadas on Friday, December 23, 2022 in all government/private primary, high and secondary schools of Punjab.

Giving information in this regard, Harjot Singh Bains, the Minister of School Education of Punjab, said that dedicated to the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas  of Dashmesh Pita Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the martyrdom of Punjabis and especially Sikhs living all over the world from December 20 to December 28. In the form of a week, Sijda is performed with great devotion.

He said that events dedicated to the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas  are being organized for the first time in all the schools of the state so that the school students can be well aware of the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas .

Giving information about the event to be conducted in this regard, the Minister of Education said that on Friday, December 23, 2022, after the morning assembly in schools from 9:20 to 10:20, poetry/song/word/verse singing competition related to Martyr Week will be held by students. will be conducted

From 10:20 to 11:00 Speech/Educational Competition related to Martyrdom Sake and Family Separation of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and from 11:00 to 11:30 Special Educational Presentations related to Martyrdom Week by School Head/Staff/Teachers.

Giving further information, he said that during these competitions, school heads can also conduct other activities at their level, through which information related to the memory and martyrdom of Sahibzadas  can be provided. Bains said that the example of Sahibzadas  martyrdom in Lasani is not found anywhere else in the history of the world and with this initiative, school students will be aware of this great historical tragedy.
