On Friday, Haryana Women and Child Development Minister Kamlesh Dhanda held a monthly meeting of District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Kurukshetra. In the meeting, taking the matter of negligence in the case of cutting trees from the panchayat land in village Ajmatpur seriously, instructions have been given to suspend the DPO, SHO and Namdar by taking action as per the rules.
In the meeting, strict orders were also given to the officials that the grievances of the people should be resolved on priority basis. In future, strict action will be taken if any officer is found guilty of delay in redressal of grievances.Out of the 12 complaints on the agenda in the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee, 7 complaints have been resolved on the spot and 5 complaints will be resolved in the next meeting. Meanwhile, the officials have been ordered to act on five complaints as per the rules.

District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee member Mandeep Singh Virak submitted a complaint to the State Minister about the cutting of trees from panchayat land in village Ajmatpur. An investigation report was submitted by the police administration and DDPO on this complaint and the report revealed the fact that 31 trees were cut from the panchayat land.
Taking the matter seriously, the Minister of State Kamlesh Dhanda has given instructions to suspend the then BDPO of Ismailabad, the then SHO of Jhansa and the Namdar of the concerned village.
