Modi government has given gifts to more than 1 crore central employees and pensioners on festivals. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it has been decided to increase the dearness allowance.

DA has been increased by 4 percent and has been increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. This increase will be applicable from July to December 2022.

Employees and pensioners will get the benefit of dearness allowance and relief at the rate of 38 percent. This increment is based on the formula approved under the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
