New Petrol Diesel Price

Indian oil marketing companies have released the latest prices of petrol and diesel today as usual. However, Indian oil companies have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable on Tuesday (October 4) as well.

Thus, today is the 136th consecutive day when there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country. Even today there is news of relief for the common people on the inflation front.

At the same time, the price of crude oil in the international market has been seeing a continuous decline for the last several days. Currently, Brent crude is around $85 per barrel.

Earlier on May 21, the government had reduced the excise duty. Excise duty on petrol has been reduced by Rs 8 per liter and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre.
Since then, the prices of petrol and diesel have come down. After this, diesel became cheaper by Rs 9.50 and Rs 7 per liter in the country. After the Centre’s announcement, the governments of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Orissa and Kerala have also reduced VAT.

Currently, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.72 per liter and diesel is selling at Rs 89.62 per litre. Along with this, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai.
