Big gift given by CM Bhagwant Mann to the unemployed; Announcement to fill 2500 posts

Giving a big gift to the youth of the state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced to start the process of filling up about 2500 posts in the police department.

Elaborating on this, the Chief Minister said that under the ongoing process of providing employment to the youth of the state, the Aam Aadmi government will recruit about 2500 more police personnel in the Punjab Police to effectively maintain the law and order situation. In addition to maintaining, manpower can be increased to deal with future challenges.
He said that these vacancies include 1156 posts of Constables in Intelligence and Investigation cadre, 787 posts of Head Constables in Investigation cadre and 560 posts of Sub Inspectors in Investigation, Intelligence, District and Armed Police cadre.

Bhagwant Mann informed that the exam for constables will be held on October 14, 2022, while the exam for head constables will be held on October 15, 2022 and for the post of sub-inspectors on October 16, 2022.

The Chief Minister further said that the state government has recently handed over appointment letters to 4374 constables in the police force. He said that other recruitment is also under process and this process will be completed soon.
