Alert issued by Meteorological Department; Heavy rain will occur in these states including Punjab

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert warning of rain for several states.

Indian weather has predicted that from September 22 to September 24, heavy rain and lightning will continue in many states including Punjab.

Along with this, heavy rain is predicted in Assam and Meghalaya on September 22 and 23 and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on September 22.

Apart from this, rain is likely to occur in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.

There are many such states across the country, where the rain continues continuously these days.

Apart from Chandigarh-Mohali, people have got relief from the heat in many areas of Punjab as well as in the capital of the country, Delhi.

The temperature here has come down due to heavy rains last day. The Meteorological Department says that the rain will continue till September 24.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand till September 24. Meanwhile, passengers have also been asked to be careful.

Dehradun, Tihri, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts may experience heavy rain. Along with this, Monsoon has departed from Southwest Rajasthan and its Kutch region from today.
