Giving top priority to the all-round development of children, the Punjab government has released a grant of Rs 38.53 crore for setting up toy libraries for pre-primary students across the state.

Giving information in this regard, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that this grant has been issued by the Punjab government to provide education through modern methods to the students studying in pre-primary classes located in 12846 schools of the state.
He further said that with this, the students will also be made aware about health care, cleanliness and hygiene and touching with good and bad intentions.

He said that compared to previous years, parents are showing great enthusiasm for admission in pre-primary classes located in government schools this year.
