Three officials of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) have been suspended for their alleged involvement in the APPSC paper leak case.
The officials have been suspended under the provisions of Article 371H of the Constitution of India.
On October 29, two more officials—Nima Tondrang, Joint Secretary (Establishment) and Swarup Bhattacharjee, Personal Assistant—were suspended in connection with the APPSC paper leak case.
The CBI has taken over the investigation into the alleged question paper leak of the Assistant Engineer Exam conducted by the APPSC.
The investigating agency has registered a case against Akhilesh Yadav, a teacher of coaching center Jeju Institute, Itanagar, and unidentified officials of APPSC in a case registered by the state government.
Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh Police had arrested APPSC Deputy Secretary Teket Jerang in connection with this case.
