The situation is still tense after the clash between Radha Swami Satsang and Nihanga in Beas last Sunday. A large number of police personnel are deployed in the area. To maintain law and order, police have registered an FIR against 400 unidentified people. Police officials are trying to broker a compromise between the two parties.

According to the information, the Nihangs are accused of trying to forcibly enter the camp to graze their cattle on Sunday, following which a violent clash broke out between the followers of Radha Swami Satsang and the Nihangs. About a dozen people including 3 policemen were injured in this incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Swapan Sharma confirmed that the FIR has been registered and said that the police have also joined it. However, the police have refused to say anything about the matter.
