The five-member delegation thanked the Chief Minister profusely for accepting the long-pending demand for regularization of the service.
They said that previous governments used to make promises on this issue only at the time of elections, but the Bhagwant Mann government has removed all obstacles and made it a reality after election also.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister handed over the notification letter to the teachers and had a detailed discussion with them. The teachers welcomed this initiative
He said that a notification has been issued to regularize the services of 8736 teachers and they are part of the state government.
Bhagwant Mann expressed regret that these teachers have been working on contract posts for a long time and some of these teachers have been performing their duties for the last 14 years.
Bhagwant Mann motivated the teachers to do their duty well to prepare the students to compete their educated peers in private schools.
He said that the state government has decided to take the services of teachers for the main teaching tasks only. Bhagwant Mann also congratulated the teachers and wished ,all the best for their future.
