Providingquality healthcare services to the people is the main priority of the state government

Reiterating the strong commitment of the Aam Aadmi government to ensure the welfare of the people, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday said that the state government has given top priority to providing quality healthcare services to the people.

Dedicating the Maternal and Child Care Hospital at the local sub-divisional hospital here, the Chief Minister hoped that the newly built hospital would provide quality healthcare services to pregnant women and new-born children. to ensure quality healthcare services. Bhagwant Mann said that more such hospitals will be built across the state in the coming days.
The Chief Minister further said that strenuous efforts are being made to equip the government hospitals with modern facilities. He said that a large-scale recruitment process has been started to fill the vacant posts in the health department. Bhagwant Mann said that the sole purpose of this step is to ensure the best healthcare services to the people of the state.

The Chief Minister asked the medical and para-medical staff to perform their duties with dedication and seriousness. He said that the need of the hour is to ensure quality health services in government hospitals for the people. Bhagwant Mann said that the state government will leave no stone unturned to strengthen the infrastructure of government healthcare so that the people can be provided quality health services of treatment and examination.
The Chief Minister visited Operation Theatre, Vaccination Ward, OPD to review the health services. etc. also inspected. He also visited different wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients to get information about the government work in the hospital. Bhagwant Mann also got information about the facilities of the hospital by talking in detail with the doctors and para-medical staff.
