Banks will remain closed for six days from October 22 in various states of India.

– 24 October : Bank holiday due to Kali Puja/Deepawali/Diwali (Lakshmi Puja)/Narak Chaturdashi. On this day, banks will remain closed across India except Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal.
Banks will remain closed in various parts of the country on October 25 due to Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Govardhan Puja. Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal and Jaipur on this day.
– 26th October will be a bank holiday on the occasion of Govardhan Puja/ Vikram Samvat New Year’s Day/ Bhai Bij/ Bhai Dooj/ Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/ Lakshmi Puja/ Entry Day. Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shimla, Srinagar on this day.
– Banks will be closed on October 27 due to Bhaiduj/Chitargupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Ningol Chakuba. Banks in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow will remain closed on this day.
