Burning updates Chandigarh:

In compliance with the orders of Punjab Government, Sub Divisional Magistrate – Cum Electoral Registration Officer 031 – Nakodar has issued a show cause notice to 7 officers. The said officers are accused that the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab is working on summary revision 2022. In which Form No. 6B was to link the voter’s Aadhaar card with the voter card on the basis of preference.

Sub Divisional Magistrate – Cum Electoral Registration Officer 031 – Nakodar assigned the duties of the said officers to carry out this work. That you have not joined the duty till now. The main reason is that the progress report of form no 6B is very less.

In this regard, why did you not join the duty and why was this work delayed? The said officer should give an explanation in writing, and the election officer also said that why should not appropriate action be taken against them (the said officers) as per Section 31 of the Election Commission of India, 1950. If you do not give your side or explanation, it will be understood that you have no side or explanation.
