Burning updates: Chandigarh
After the continuous heavy rain across the country, people are now getting relief. Last day, the period of rain stopped in Delhi-NCR. Here again people felt the heat. However, light to heavy rain and thundershowers are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 29 and 30.
Lightning and heavy rain are likely to occur in different parts of Odisha on September 29. Along with this, in the forecast of Meteorological Center Ranchi, it has been said that till September 29, there will be rain in the surrounding districts including the capital Ranchi.
With the formation of an anticyclone over Rajasthan, the Southwest Monsoon is forecast to withdraw over parts of Northwest India and Central India during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation is over northwest and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal. Light to moderate rain at one or two places over southwest Jharkhand and parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
Rainfall forecast in these states
Along with this, light to moderate rain is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain is also forecast over Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep. However, rains have brought relief in many parts of the hilly state of Uttarakhand these days.
