Liquorseized from train, two smugglers arrested

Bilaspur. After the blockade in the border areas of Madhya Pradesh, now smuggling of liquor has started by train. GRP has arrested two youths for smuggling English liquor in Amarkantak Express on Monday morning. The youth was going to Raipur with liquor from Jabalpur. Then, during the investigation at Bilaspur railway station, the youths were caught with alcohol in the general bogie. So far, incidents of cannabis smuggling in drugs in trains are coming to the fore. Inter-state ganja smugglers have been smuggling ganja from Odisha in trains after the police blockade at the border intensified. At the same time, on the other hand, there has been illegal supply of liquor from the border areas of Madhya Pradesh, which police is monitoring by setting up checkposts at the border to stop it. In such a situation, the liquor smugglers have now made the train a safe haven and have started smuggling liquor. Here, the team of RPF and GRP is constantly active to prevent drug smuggling in trains. On Monday morning, the GRP team was investigating the Amarkantak Express. Meanwhile, two suspicious youths were found in the investigation of General Bogi in Bilaspur zonal station. 10 bottles of English liquor were recovered on the search of his bag. In the inquiry, it was revealed that Khemchand Chaudhary (42) father Ramadhar Chaudhary lives in Babatola Sindhi camp of Hanumantal police station of Jabalpur and another youth Suresh Ahirwar (25) father – Munni Lal Ahirwar also lives in Babatola Sindhi camp of Jabalpur. Both were going to eat in Raipur with liquor. SI Bhupesh Rathore, Principal Constable Indrajit, Baghel Constable Laxman Gain and others were involved in this action.
