Krishna consciousness means a state of  awareness and affection for supreme person Krishna.During Margashirsha month  many events and Book Fairs are organized all around world for spreading  the knowledge  of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita .

It is first time in the history of Punjabi University Patiala that book stall on books related to Krishna Conciousness has been set up by Hare Krishna Centre, Lahori gate, Patiala in the 5-day book fair from 22-26th November 2022.

On this book stall, authentic publication of Srimad Bhagwat Gita, Srimad Bhagwatam, Krishna past times etc were made available. Devotees of Hare Krishna Centre and Badrika Ashram Rajpura had managed this stall.

Lots of students, employees and outsiders visited the stall for purchasing books and getting formal knowlegde about Krishna consciousness.

Shyam Sunder Das from Hare Krishna Centre Patiala addressed that this is Lord Krishna’s mercy that Stall has been put up at Book fair, Punjabi University Patiala so that youths deviating from their morals can get benefited from the teachings of Srila Prabupadh’s teachings.

Parshotam Das from Badrika ashram, Pabri, Rajpura guided lots of youths during the fair about way of living peaceful, stress-free and healthy life by following Srila Prabupadh’s literature. Moreover he also informed about The YouTube channel of Dr. Keshav Anand Das who is Gold medalist in MBBS but he has dedicated his life for Krishna Consciousness preaching.

It was surprising for some people  that there are regular classes on Bhagwat Gita in University Sri Gita Temple and Gita Bhawan Samania Gate, Patiala. About 500 devotees shared their mobile numbers showing their interest in getting in depth knowledge about Krishna consciousness.
