Elaborating on the achievements and future plans of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to eradicate TB by 2025, Health and Family Welfare Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra today said that eight districts of Punjab have already received bronze category certification. and the department has set a target of bringing five more districts to silver category and three districts to bronze category in the coming year.

Expressing this, the Health Minister said that for the year 2022-23, the department has identified 70,000 patients and set a target for treatment. He said that the Health and Family Welfare Department of Punjab has organized a two-day workshop at Magsipa Chandigarh with the aim of eliminating TB by reducing new cases of TB by more than 80 percent.
