During the British rule, we Indians were slaves of the British and we Indians remained in the chains of slavery for almost 100 years. Many of our brave soldiers fought for freedom . Among those soldiers today we will talk about Shaheed Bhagat Singh who made his special contribution to liberate India, today is the memorable day of patriot Bhagat Singh’s Birthday. . 

 

Shaheed Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907 AD in Chak No. 105 of village Banga of district Lyallpur (Pakistan).

His father’s name was Sardar Krishna Singh and his mother’s name was Vidyavati ,his uncle Sardar Ajit Singh was also a famous freedom fighter

 

He did his primary education while living in village Khatkar Kalan . He did his Matric at DAV School Lahore, after that he studied at National College So, while studying in college, the idea of ​​liberating India came to his mind, that’s why he joined many revolutionary organizations.

 

– Bhagat Singh was very fond of reading, that’s why his friends say that he always had some book with him. He collected detailed information of European, American, Russian literature .Many historians say that before being arrested, he read about 250 books and about 300 of his books were printed in prison. His articles were also published in many magazines. Bhagat Singh was influenced by the ideology of Karl Marx and Lenin. He was also highly influenced by idealistic and socialist ideas. |

An article by Vishwa Prem, a Calcutta magazine *published in 1924 and said, “What a great idea, let everyone be your own, let no one be a stranger, what a great time it will be when the sense of alienation from the world will be erased forever.

The day this idea of oneness will be established, we can say that the world has reached its height. Bhagat Singh also believed that there should be a distance between the government and religion so that the government does not discriminate against any religion, Bhagat Singh Singh had said that a person can be killed but not his thoughts.

In 1525-26 he founded the Nojwan Bharat Sabha. Bhagat Singh himself was appointed as the general secretary of this organization and the Garam faction of the Congress supported this organization. This institution became the center of revolutionaries. The aim of this organization was to bring awareness in Nojwana.

 

– When Indian people were protesting Simon Commission, Simon Commission was raising slogans to go back. They wanted to avenge the martyrdom

When Bhagat Singh threw a bomb in the assembly in 1929 AD and surrendered to the police and the slogans of Revolution Zindabad started echoing in the assembly.

 

– Thus on 23 March 1931, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Rajguru were hanged in Lahore Jail. Thus the name of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was written in golden letters in history. his martyrdom can never be forgotten.

 

So friends, if we want to pay true tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, then there is no use in getting tattoos on arms, putting stickers on the back of cars, putting profile photos, but we should try to know and implement his thoughts deeply.
