The delegation acquired information about the infrastructure and qualitative education of primary, middle, high and senior secondary and meritorious schools of Punjab.

A high-level delegation from the Education Department of the Government of Maharashtra visited the government schools of Punjab to get familiar with the quality education system of the government schools of Punjab and to be aware of the qualitative education activities going on in the schools.

According to the guidelines of Maharashtra Government Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, Maharashtra Government Secretary School Education and Sports Department Ranjit Singh Deol IAS. The delegation, led by School Education Department Punjab Secretary cum DGSE Pradeep Kumar Agarwal IAS made this delegation visit the government schools of the state and gave information about the procedures and achievements of the government schools of the state.

During the meeting, information was shared about the organizational structure of the Punjab Government Education Department, information regarding teachers and students, teacher training programs, teacher recruitment, smart school policy, online teacher transfer policy, sports policy and other important issues. Apart from this, the actions being taken by the State Educational Research and Training Council Punjab for school education were also discussed in detail.
Informing the delegation of Maharashtra about the future goals of the Punjab government, Ms. Talwar said that 100 schools of eminence are being prepared by the state government very soon, for which a budget of 200 crore rupees has been kept. Apart from this, 30 crore rupees have been kept in the budget to provide international level training to school heads and teachers in the future.
