The state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has decided to organize a special loan camp on December 3 on the occasion of Disability Day to provide loans to disabled persons, fulfilling the long-standing demand of the disabled association.

Giving more information in this regard, the Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the state government is considering the demands of the disabled people with compassion and is trying to solve them.
Taking another step in the same direction, the state government has decided to organize a special loan camp on December 3 to give loans to the people of Punjab who have 40 percent or more disability certificates.

Dr. Baljit Kaur further said that a disabled person who is a permanent citizen of the state of Punjab and wants to take a loan should submit his voter card, Aadhaar card, and UDI. Card, deposit guarantee, etc. documents can be submitted to District Welfare Officer or SC Corporation office.

The Cabinet Minister urged the disabled to take full advantage of this opportunity by taking loans to start their businesses. He said that the Punjab government is making continuous efforts to make the disabled people of the state self-reliant.
To make their lives possible, the bank is going to organize a loan camp at Sangrur, Malot, Mansa, and Ludhiana on the occasion of Divyang Diwas on 3rd December 2022. In these loan camps, loans will be provided to persons with disabilities who meet the conditions for taking loans.
