After the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, it is believed that there may be rain along with dense fog in the state today. A riot occurred yesterday in the border areas including Punjab/Chandigarh, Mohali. It is also being told that Bathinda is running at the lowest temperature in the state.
On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department tweeted that there is a possibility of an increase in temperature of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in North-West India.

A Western Disturbance will affect the Himalayan region by the night of January 26, causing light to moderate rain or snowfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be some relief from the bitter cold after the rains. Also, it is being said that, from today 26th January, the western Himalayan areas may experience disturbance and a slight decrease in cold wave will be recorded today.
