Assured of quick solution to the problems of outsourced employees to the ‘Theka Employee Sangharsh Morcha’

Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema has directed to collect data on the total number of outsourced employees and their contractors/outsourcing agencies employed by all departments of the Punjab government.
Today, during a meeting with ‘Theka Mulajam Sangharsh Morcha’ at his office in a pleasant atmosphere, the Finance Minister discussed the issues and demands raised by the representatives of the Morcha with the concerned officials on the spot so that they can work for an appropriate solution as soon as possible. Hearing the complaints of outsourced employees, Cheema issued instructions to prepare complete data of outsourced employees by all government departments and corporations, societies and committees, saying that the qualification and experience of these employees will also be included in the data.
The Finance Minister also asked the concerned outsourcing companies or agencies to provide complete information on the total financial expenditure incurred on employing these employees through outsourcing, including the commission.
During the departmental discussions with the representatives of the front, the Finance Minister assured them that all their legitimate issues would be resolved soon. He said that after getting the data from all the departments, he would soon discuss their issues with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
In the meeting Secretary Personnel Rajat Agarwal, Special Secretary Finance Mohit Tiwari, H.O.D. Water Supply and Sanitation Vipul Ujwal was also present.
