The Former Chief Minister  Prakash Singh Badal passed away at 8pm at Fortis Hospital .He was admitted to  Fortis hospital a week ago .As difficulty in breathing was claimed by the minister  .

Despite appropriate medical management S Parkash Singh Badal succumbed to his illness. Fortis Hospital Mohali deeply condoles the death of S Parkash Singh Badal,” a statement from the hospital said.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal passed away today. The central government has decided to announce two days of national mourning on the demise of Parkash Singh Badal.

This means that, for the next two days, the national flags in all government offices will be at half mast  .

Let us tell you that, while politicians from all over the world are expressing their sorrow over Badal’s demise, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, also expressed their grief.
