Parveen Kumar IFS from Punjab Vigilance Bureau.has been arrested.

During the preliminary investigation, Parveen Kumar revealed to the Vigilance Bureau that Sangat Singh Giljian told him that his opponent in the assembly elections is a rich man who has financial backing from the US and therefore he needs additional money to contest the elections. . The minister further pressed him to arrange funds from the department’s funds for various government activities.
Thereafter, Parveen Kumar conspired with minister’s nephew Daljit Singh Giljian and introduced Daljit Giljian and Vipul Sehgal to Vishal Chauhan, IFS, CF and asked them to help him.
