Big decision of Punjab Government government;  NOC will now be available online to regularize Properties

NOC required for registration of properties located in unauthorized colonies in the state.  To ensure prompt and timely disposal of applications, the Punjab government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann issued NOC.  The entire process from submission of applications to their disposal on the regularization portal has been made online.  The state government issued NOC.  A maximum time limit of 21 working days has also been prescribed to complete the entire issuance process.

Sharing this information, Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Mr. Aman Arora clarified that this facility of regularization can be availed only to allottees/residents whose properties fall in unauthorized colonies developed before March 19, 2018.  .  Aman Arora said that the concerned person can now log on to www.punjabregularization.in, a dedicated portal for regularization of plots and buildings located in unauthorized colonies, for which the entire process will be online.He said that till now the applications were processed offline, due to which the applicants got NOC.  Had to wait for a long time.  He said that a large number of people bought properties in unauthorized colonies due to lack of knowledge with their hard earned money.  The regularization portal has been redesigned to provide relief to such people.  He said that new facilities have been introduced on this portal for the convenience of allottees/residents of unauthorized colonies who wish to apply for regularization of their properties.

Now a large number of facilities like submission of application form, online fee payment, application status check and online settlement etc. are available on this portal.  This is a single portal for quick disposal of MC applications.  and MC  Plots and buildings outside the area are designed to be regulated.  To ensure speedy and timely disposal of applications, the Housing and Urban Development Minister further informed that a deadline has been fixed for the disposal of applications for the officials involved in the process, which will be monitored.

He said that NOC  The entire issuance process will be completed within 21 working days from the date of submission of the application on the portal.  It may be mentioned that the Government of Punjab notified a policy on 18.10.2018 to regularize plots in unauthorized colonies that came into existence before 19.03.2018.  But the plot holders were facing problems to regularize their plots under this policy as the application process was offline.  For this, this online facility has been started so that people do not have to face any difficulty.
