An emergency e-meeting of Government School Lecturers Union Punjab Majha and Border Zone on the issue of Rural Allowance, Border Allowance and DA arrears was held under the chairmanship of State President Sanjiv Kumar, Senior Vice President Aman Sharma Amritsar.

On this occasion, the leaders involved have demanded the immediate release of the letter of the installments of Dearness Allowance issued from October 2022, due from July 2021 and January 2022 and suggested that if the financial condition of the government is not right, then this balance should be paid to G.P. Therefore, the leaders present demanded the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister to immediately release rural and border allowance to protect rural education and health services.
